Home Birth Midwife serving Southeast Wyoming & Northern Colorado with prenatal care, waterbirth support, postpartum care, newborn care, and family planning services.
At Moonlit Midwifery, care is rooted in relationship, trust, and shared decision-making. Whether you’re preparing for a home birth, seeking postpartum support, or wanting guidance before pregnancy, you deserve care that is unhurried, evidence-based, and centered on you.
Home Birth Midwifery Care
From your first positive test through the final weeks of pregnancy, we walk alongside you with attentive, holistic care. Visits include thorough check-ins, personalized nutrition and lifestyle guidance, and empowering education to help you feel informed, confident, and deeply supported.
During your prenatal visits, we take time to assess both you and your baby through:
Monitoring vital signs
Abdominal palpation and fundal height measurements
Listening to fetal heart tones
Ongoing evaluation of your physical, emotional, and nutritional wellbeing
Each visit also creates space for education, meaningful conversation, and support around the milestones you’re moving through so your questions, concerns, and preferences are always part of your care.
Empowered Birth, Your Way
Grounded in a deep understanding of physiologic birth, we prioritize safety while honoring your unique vision for labor and birth. Through calm presence, skilled hands-on support, and thoughtful comfort techniques, we walk beside you as you navigate labor with strength, dignity, and confidence.
Midwifery care is rooted in informed choice and collaborative decision-making. Together, we create a care experience aligned with your values, goals, and hopes for this transformative season.
Within our care, you are seen, heard, and fully supported through pregnancy, birth, and the unfolding of parenthood..
Hydrotherapy & Waterbirth Support
Warm water can be a deeply supportive comfort measure during labor, whether or not birth ultimately occurs in the water.
At Moonlit Midwifery & Wellness, hydrotherapy is viewed as one of many tools that may help support relaxation, movement, and comfort throughout labor.
Families are encouraged to listen to their bodies and use supportive measures such as water, rest, movement, and position changes intuitively as labor unfolds, while we continue thoughtfully assessing the overall clinical picture.
Some families choose waterbirth, while others simply enjoy laboring in the water for periods of time during labor. Both experiences can be equally meaningful and beneficial.
Functional Lab Analysis
Pregnancy and postpartum are deeply transformative seasons, and we believe wellness deserves a more thoughtful, individualized approach than simply being told labs are “normal.” Alongside standard laboratory interpretation, we also review results through a functional wellness lens, considering patterns that may reflect nutrient depletion, stress, hormonal shifts, inflammation, and overall maternal wellbeing.
This can support more personalized conversations surrounding:
Prenatal nourishment and wellness
Fatigue and energy levels
Mineral and nutrient status
Hormonal balance
Postpartum recovery and healing
Lifestyle and holistic wellness support
Our approach is rooted in informed choice, education, and whole-person care, supporting families with both current evidence and a deeper look at maternal wellness during pregnancy and the postpartum transition.
Functional lab analysis is educational in nature and intended to complement, not replace, medical diagnosis or treatment.
Holistic Postpartum & Newborn Care
Care continues well beyond birth. We provide compassionate postpartum and newborn support during the vital first six weeks, including recovery care, 2 in-home postpartum visits, lactation support, and newborn wellness visits. Whether you need guidance with healing, feeding, or emotional adjustment, you are not navigating this transition alone.
Extended Postpartum Care
Postpartum does not end at six weeks. The first year brings ongoing physical, emotional, and practical transitions that deserve continued support and presence. Families who receive comprehensive care also receive complimentary extended check-ins at 6 and 12 months. These visits are non-clinical in nature, and offer space to pause, reflect, and receive support as you move through important milestones in your postpartum year.
These visits may include:
Emotional and mental health support
Physical recovery questions
Feeding or sleep guidance
Return-to-work transitions
Anything else that is present for you
These may be offered in person or virtually.

Important Considerations
Birth is a physiologic process that unfolds in its own time and in its own way. While we provide skilled, evidence-based care, attentive support, and thoughtful clinical judgment, outcomes can never be guaranteed.
Each pregnancy and birth is unique. Care decisions are guided by ongoing assessment, informed consent, and collaboration. Our role is to walk alongside you with presence, guidance, and advocacy, supporting you as your birth unfolds.
Insurance & Payment
Moonlit Midwifery & Wellness is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Some insurance plans may offer partial reimbursement for midwifery care, but this varies widely and is not guaranteed. Clients are responsible for the full fee, which is due by 36 weeks of pregnancy. A superbill can be provided for submission to your insurance company, and some families choose to work with our third-party billing services to assist with reimbursement.
How to Establish Care
